Endlossong is a book-length meditation on the sources of its author's creative practice, and of those underpinning much poetry: the constancy of memory, trauma and place; the changeability of language and form; the variability of community, self-identity, love and loss.

Endlossong is also a book about writing, and the challenges of doing so under great duress. Here, the poems are driven by language – which is primary to the work – and yet, a varied music emerges from the narrative threads that constitute the eight sections which comprise the book.
